I am really excited about how the site is coming along, but one area that still needs some work is the "ideas" page. This page should be full of links/information about various energy-saving projects that people can undertake.
I only have a few links so far and half of them are companies that are based in Seattle. So, if you have any ideas for this page please let me know!! And of course I'd like to hear any other comments on the site too. If something is confusing, or you have suggestions or questions or comments, please tell me!

One idea I have is quite simple, no high tech needed. It's about incorporating a cold storage room in the floor plan of houses in the north. I just think it's stupid to operate a fridge/freezer in a kitchen heated at 70F when it has been consistently below freezing outside the house. I know it might sound primitive but if we make the room accessible and efficient, it will be great to store veggie, fruits in a cold room like that. But it's not that realistic unless gas and electricity become 1000 times more expensive that the current rates.
Hey Cecily, that is a great idea!! If you can find a company that already builds something like that, you could check it out and get a cost estimate and then put it on the site!! :)
BTW I think I would lose weight if i had to walk outside every time I got something to eat.
